Running a fundraising event is always a challenge. We recognize that. We've run a few of our own. The biggest hurdle is making sure that the people that attend are entertained without blowing your budget on a high priced act. Afterall, if there is no money left at the end of the evening, you'd be better off to have a yard sale.
The Kitchen plays a number charity events every year for a fraction of our corporate rate, often just covering costs of lighting and sound equipment rentals, etc.
If you have an event that you think would benefit from a top notch band, please feel free to send us the details and we would be glad to let you know how we could help out. We have a full marketing department (okay, one designer!) that we can bring to bear to assist in the promotion as well if we feel that the charity is a good fit.
